Knit With Love was founded by Lindsay Baxter in Orange County, California. I learned to knit at a young age, so I built up a large inventory of scarves and beanies, but had no use for them living in a warm climate. I decided to go to Los Angeles a few days before Christmas in 2008 to pass out knitted items to the local homeless people. Seeing how much appreciation there was for these simple items, I was inspired to continue on with this. Since then Knit With Love has donated to seven countries and five states. We have donated items to homeless children and adults in America, impoverished people all over the world, and kids in cancer wards in hospitals.
We are always looking for volunteers to knit items or donate supplies. To learn more, call (949) 388-2359, or email info@knitwithlove.org
